Double chamber films are used to improve thermal protection of crops, thus enhancing the effect of roof and minimizing transmission of light into the greenhouse as little as possible.
The operation of this double chamber is that an air chamber is created between the cover biopolymer and the double chamber, which delays cooling. This avoids damage that low temperatures exert on crops grown under greenhouse. There is also the possibility of adding additivation that gives this film anti-fogging or thermal properties among others.
The guarantee of its operation resides in its manufacture, based on combinations of EVA copolymers and/or metallocene, in multilayer structures, which improve the transmission of light into the greenhouse.
